To be honest, it was quite simple - thanks YOUTUBE: I found a > tutorial < about WordPress by Tim. I liked his way of conveying things the best. Step by step he explains everything from web hosting to the finished webpage. I saw the video on the iPad and followed the individual steps on the computer in parallel. Very quickly I had created the first pages. I experimented a lot.
Once I got stuck and spent hours thinking about how to get the layout right again. Originally I wanted to learn Typo3, but a friend told me that I'm perfectly set up with WordPress and can transfer the knowledge to most content management systems.
Like ProCreate, WordPress is a hobby which I would like to develop professionally. I love sitting in a hanging chair with my computer, transforming my concept into layout and linking texts and pictures - It's a bit like knitting without wool. I don't know why I created my first webpage in English. It was an interesting exercise. Regularly I tinker with the page, so don't be surprised if things look completely different here tomorrow.
STEP 2
Designing a Webpage for my best friend
Webpage Free Speaker
I developed a webpage for my best friend in April 2020. That means I extended my Siteground account to host a second domain. The idea for the structure of the page was quickly implemented.
About the Logo and color code, I tinkered a bit, because it should look perfect.
In January 2021, I was looking at how an online store could be built. I therefore built a fictitious product page and found it interesting to see how shopping baskets, stock levels and sales quantities interact synchronously.
For a real store I would probably have to buy a professional plugin. But anyway I don’t want to sell cubes.
